Terms of Use

Ventriff is a place to vent small everyday annoyances. We use AI to transform what you write into a couple of short comedic takes. When you pick the one you like, it's saved to your private Vault and posted to the public Triffroom feed, and you get a link to share it.

You retain ownership of what you write. By submitting a vent you grant Ventriff a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, store, distribute and translate it within the service (including the public Triffroom feed and share-link pages). You can delete any of your vents yourself from your Vault at any time — which also removes them from the Triffroom and their share links — or emailhi@ventriff.com.

Don't submit content that contains:

• Real-person names with specific accusations
• Hate speech, slurs, or harassment
• Sexual or NSFW material
• Threats of violence or self-harm
• Spam, advertising, or coordinated abuse

Ventriff's AI is instructed not to build jokes that target real, named people or vulnerable groups — the target stays the system, the situation, or you. It isn't a perfect filter, so we also remove content that breaks these rules after publication once it's reported — see "Takedowns" below.

Anyone can request removal of a vent by emailing hi@ventriff.com with the link. We respond within 14 working days for routine requests. Urgent matters (immediate safety, impersonation, defamation) are reviewed sooner.

Your first vent is free. After that, generating a vent costs one credit. Credits are bought in bundles (7, 30, or 365) through Stripe and never expire. One credit is spent each time you generate — whether or not you keep a result. If a generation fails on our side, the credit is refunded automatically.

Credits are a digital service delivered immediately. By purchasing, you ask us to start delivery at once and you acknowledge that your right of withdrawal lapses once a generation has been performed. Unused credits can be refunded on request within 14 days of purchase by emailing hi@ventriff.com; credits already spent are non-refundable. Prices include VAT where applicable.

Ventriff is provided as-is. We don't guarantee uptime, performance, or that any particular feature will remain available. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time.

To the extent permitted by law, Ventriff is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. You use Ventriff at your own discretion.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email (if you provided one). Continued use after a change means you accept it.
